I had my stance analysed after a few days riding. I knew something wasn't right due to the aches and pains I was getting at the end of each day. Sure enough I was a long way from my 'perfect starting point' - which is what StanceFind aims to provide. I adjusted my board and was keen to hit the slopes for a test...
The difference was amazing, suddenly I was able to just take an edge when I chose to, no elaborate setting up and weight shifting, it all just happened easy as!! I felt like I had been fighting with the board before and not always winning, but now even switch just came easily and smoothly.
Don't snowboard without getting it checked.. that's my advice.

I probably had 30 days total before i used the StanceFind machine. I set-up my board myself, not knowing how much set-up makes a difference. My riding kind of hit a flat spot. Things were uncomfortable that i don't think should've been, and i wasn't picking up any new stuff. After using the StanceFind my body wasn't sore for no reason. It also got me over the hump in my riding. I am now able to spin easier because my body is comfortable, and my carving is effortless. I suggest checking it out for yourself, it's only gonna help your riding out. Thanks guys!

The Stancefinder machine made a big difference to me, I found that my board setup was quite a way out making boarding more strenuous that it should be. Once I had changed my settings to the ones found by Stancefinder I noticed that boarding felt a lot more natural than before. Now I can spend longer on the slopes and feel less exhausted at the end of the day.

I used to think that my boots hurt, but then it was suggested that my bindings were in the wrong position. I had them set up in the shop and thought that it was ok. I used the stance finder machine and since then my skills on a board have gone from strength to strength. I would recommend this machine to every snow boarder. Best of all my feet and legs don’t hurt anymore!!!

From playing a great deal of sports, my legs were used to getting a bit of a hammering and as I thought it was part of the fun of snowboarding holidays that they did even more so on the slopes. Since going on the Stancefind machine, I realised this should not have been the case. By having and using my natural stance, boarding is now so much more comfortable, my legs don't hurt and even better is there are no lasting effects the day afterwards. Meaning when holidaying from the UK no time is lost off the slopes due to tired limbs.

For the last 4 years I have always rented my snowboard and paid very little attention to the position my bindings were in. This year I purchased a board and bindings and had my stance calculated by Sean's machine. I cannot describe what a difference it has made to my snow boarding experience. My stance feels more natural and pains I used to get in my calves and thighs have gone completely. I strongly advise any snowboarder, novice or expert to try this machine.

Before using the stance machine I found that by the end of a day boarding my legs were very often very tired and movement was sometimes restricted. After I had been on the machine I found that my legs were no longer as tired after boarding and also that my stance appeared to be a lot more natural. Improved balance was also a benefit of using the machine as I found that my stance was better, meaning I was able to control the board more easily and occasionally when I was caught off balance I was able to correct myself which previously I was not able to do. Before using the stance machine boarding used to be very uncomfortable, now I hardly notice the previous days exercise. An excellent invention.

Sean dialed in my proper stance by making only minor adjustments of 3° in the front and no change in the rear and about 1 inch wider. I immediately felt more balanced and my edge control became much more stable and responsive. For such a small change the resulting effect was amazing. Thanks Sean!
After changing my stance to match the outcome of my StanceFind experience, I found additional comfort in my ride as well as enhanced control.
Thanks, James
hi
settings that i was advised for my perfect stance:
left foot + 12, right foot - 3, width 50cm
settings that i had worked out through a lot of adjusting and farting about:
left foot + 29, right foot - 9, width 53cm
i adjusted the bindings to your settings and i have been snow boarding since. i thought i was going to go down the slope on my arse. the first couple of runs was ok but did not feel 100%, but on the third run it was amazing it felt has if the board was part of me, it was unreal! even my boots felt comfortable for the first time since i brought them.
i would just like to say thanks very much

I had a go on the stance find at the Ski and Board show at the NEC 2 weeks
ago but I was only wearing trainers. I've been snowboarding for seven years
and have often played with my stance setup to see if I could make things
easier so that I could ride all day without being too tired the next day.
The results of the brief test on the machine indicated that the setup I'm
currently riding is very close to what's best for me, wow!
I'd love to have another go to see what difference fresh legs and my snowboard
boots would make, please can you let me know how I may be able to arrange
this.
My name is Peter Holland and have been snowboarding for ten seasons. I would
just like to say that StanceFind confirmed my stance straight away. It was
the best information available at the ski and snowboard show N.E.C. 06.
StanceFind would be an invaluable tool for novice and accomplished boarders
alike, taking the headache (or leg ache) out of the all important set up on
your board. Thanks to the guys at StanceFind.
